End of April mountaineering and climbing

Yesterday I was out on Forcan Ridge on The Saddle in Glen Sheil with Steve and Kath. After the previous 24 hours it was incredibly snowy, probably more snow than any of the winter ascents I've done.

Today we went to Kingussie crag where Steve and Kath led several routes. It was dry all day and although cool we had plenty of sunshine. I have put a collection of the photos on my Facebook Page here: April mountaineering and climbing with Steve and Kath

Alpine training weekend in the west

The last two days I was working for High Mountain Guides out of Fort William. We had some lovely settled weather and perfect Alpine conditions. On Saturday Marcus, Brenton and I climbed in Glen Nevis looking at multi-pitch climbing, abseiling, scrambling, prusiking and crevasse rescue.
