Two very contrasting days
This weekend I was working with the Breakaway Club who are the St Andrews Uni Hill Walking Club and we were based in Glen Shee. On Saturday we climbed Glas Maol in very challenging conditions. There was some opportunity also to look at practicing our ice axe arrest and loads of chances to practice navigation in the whiteout conditions. On the Sunday the team I had didn't have winter boots so we headed out of the snow and climbed the Graham Mount Blair and had some lovely sunny spells and practiced lots of summer hill skills.
