Guided Munros on Skye

This week I was working on the Black Cuillin on Skye. We had a very mixed week of weather with sunshine, showers, hail and rainbows. The ridge was quite busy but never too crowded.

Donald and I were guiding Ingolf, Clare and Helen on the complex scrambling ground which needs to be covered to get to the top of most of the Munros on Skye. They can now go home from their Skye scrambling holiday have done all the Munros on Skye.

A wintery start to May

Yesterday I was out biking over the Coulin Pass South of Beinn Eighe. It was cold, windy and there was snow fall above 600m.

A very different day today with hot sun and a high pressure building over Scotland. Sunburnt today ... I hope the high pressure hangs around for more than a couple of days.
