I had a lovely weekend of rock climbing in the sunshine on Lochnagar. I was working with Aberdeen University Lairig Club. There was a cool NE wind blowing as we climbed Black Spout Buttress which was a great introduction to multi-pitch mountain routes.
This weekend I was working in the Cairngorms with the Aberdeen University Medicine Society. We had 2 great days of scrambling with Saturday being hot and sunny and although Sunday started dull and misty the weak front soon past to give more sun and blue sky.
Today I was out with Steve and Kath. It was very windy but sunny and the cloud lifted to give some great views. We climbed Fiacaill Ridge and then traversed Cairngorm. A lovely day out in the hills.
