Dez on the tricky start to Phobos

Another warm sunny day in the highlands of Scotland.

Carolyn, Deziree and myself headed up to Glen Marksie. This mica schist crag faces south and dries quickly after rain. The main crag contains a good selection of routes from severe to E3.

Martin on the second pitch of Route One

The ridge of high pressure over Scotland seems to be holding out for the next couple of days.

On the west coast at Diabaig we had a great day with hot sun and blue skys. With 4 parties enjoying the late summer sun it was almost busy on the main cliff.

Northern Corries in the Cairngorms

There was a dusting of snow in the Northern Cairngorms this morning. I've just updated my Winter Courses Page with new information and photos from last winter.

Ryan working the moves on The End of Silence (F7b)

Cold dry weather made it good conditions for a visit to the Sport Crag of Weem near Aberfeldy.

Wednesday 26th September 2007

Nick on the Lip Traverse V3

High pressure is again sitting over the UK with cold North winds.

Back up in Scotland I was bouldering this morning at the Kessock Bridge Boulders.

Sunday 9th September 2007

Rob topping out on the classic route Mousetrap

After a very wet summer September is starting off a bit better with a high pressure sitting to the West of the UK.

I have been down in Wales enjoying some later summer sun and climbing on the cliffs of Gogarth.
