Winter Climbing Courses

Scotland in winter has some fantastic winter climbs from the far North West Highlands to the Cairngorms in the East, to Glencoe in the South West. If you've got some basic winter climbing experience or have done one of our introductory winter climbing courses then this is the course for you. Maybe you want to swing your axes at some vertical ice, torque your way up a winter mixed route or have a great day out on a much sort after classic line.

As a Scottish Winter Climber you will want to challenge yourself more. With the guidance of an Alpha Mountaineering Instructor you can get that experience with the knowledge that you are with an experienced and qualified winter climbing instructor.

Maybe you've heard about a particular winter route or mountain area and you'd like to discover more then why not book your own Mountain Instructor to take you on a quided tour.

We run our winter climbing courses from the end of December to the end of March.

Check out what past clients have to say about Alpha Mountaineering on our Client Testimonials page.
