Hills and Scrambles in Glencoe

For the last 3 days I have been working for Hebridean Pursuits.

Andy and I had a group of young people from Tiree. They were over on the mainland to experience some hill walking and scrambling in Glencoe.

Although the weather was mixed it was not as wet as expected and we had 3 great days on Stob Coire nan Lochan, the Zig Zags on Gearr Aonach and the NE ridge of Sgorr Bhan.

Back to an Autumnal Scotland

After an excellent successful trip to the Indian Himalaya I've returned to a cool and damp Scotland. The full team, shown in the photo, made it over the Parang La (5500m high pass). We then spent over 9 days above 4500m and climbed a possibly unclimbed summit which was 5985m high. (The Summit is behind the team in the photo)

When I've done some sorting I'll put a few photos on the website along with a trip report. I was leading this trip for Martin Moran
