Quick hit at the Camel
I haven't been to the Camel since the spring and although the midges almost came out in force we were lucky to have just enough breeze to keep them away. It was surprising because it was blowing a hooly in Inverness but the crag is almost completely sheltered from the westerly breeze.
I was at the crag today with Nic and Andy and Andy too. Good banter and a pleasant catch up after the summer. The climbing was still as sustained as I remember it but a great place to work on building the stamina back up. |
