Climbing Am Buachaille with Red and Matthew
Just back from a week in the north west Highlands with Red and Matthew. The week started with showers and lots of wind but gradually as the week went on a window of opportunity opened up for the weekend. The low pressure that had been anchored off the west coast gave way to a ridge of high pressure which gave us the chance to climb Am Buachaille.
Red, who is blind, wanted to do it in great style and he did! He and Matthew cycled in and walked over the headland and then swam out to the stack and climbed it all while being filmed by Keith, Mike and Robbie for the Holman Prize
