The Adventure Show
This weekend it looks like winter is truly arriving on the hills with snow down to 500m if you believe the BBC forecasters or 700m if you want Geoff Monks take on it.
From the start of winter you can take a look back at midsummer this weekend when Red Szell appears in the Adventure Show climbing the Old Man of Hoy during mid June this year. Martin Moran and myself guided Red, who is blind, up the Old Man this summer and the film footage taken by Martin, Keith Partridge and myself makes up a feature on this Sunday's Adventure Show.
There is a clip here of the episode which will show this Sunday at 17:30 on BBC 2 Scotland only. But it is also, apparently, available outwith Scotland on Sky and Freesat (in both cases channel 970)
