Sun in the glens

Yesterday there was a wee possy up at Moy. Although the day started damp it soon brightened up and all the routes were dry.

Over the last few months there have been lots of additional lines bolted. It really is good little sport venue with almost 30 climbs from 4+ to 7b.

Snow on the hills

Today I was out with a Ashley, Stef, Barry, Glen, Darren and Harj. We climbed Ben Nevis via the CMD arete on Carn Mor Dearg.

There wasn't much visibility but the wind and rain didn't really kick off until the afternoon so we had a relatively straight forward traverse of the arete.

There was a light covering of snow above 1200m and the temperature on the summit was 6°C
