The high pressure this weekend meant 2 beautiful days of sunshine and blue skies. Yesterday I had a family day on the west coast near Gairloch, running, cycling and some beach action.
Today Andy and I headed up to Moy and enjoyed a cloud inversion to start and then hot sunny climbing as the day went on.

The last two days I was out with students from Albyn School in Aberdeen. I was training them while partaking in an overnight expedition in the Cromar region near Ballater.
We had some lovely sunny warm weather but the night was cold and for some it was the first time 'under canvas'. On the way home I noticed fresh snow on the Cairngorms.
