Rock Climbing at Auchinstarry with Strathclyde Uni Mountaineering Club
Yesterday I was climbing at Auchinstarry Quarry near Glasgow with Strathclyde University Mountaineering Club.We looked at anchor building, gear placement, rope management, and setting up bottom ropes. We also did some climbing!

Lochaber autumn hill and rock skills
This weekend I was out with the West Highland College University of Highlands and Islands Mountaineering Club. On Saturday we climbed Stob Ban and Mullach nan Coirean. We looked at navigation, group management, route finding, hazard judgement and risk assessment. On Sunday we went rock climbig in Glen Nevis. We looked at anchor building, gear placement, abseil set ups and bottom roping.

Sailing and Climbing Trip
Last week I was away for a wee climbing and sailing trip with Robin. We sailed from Dundee to Skye via the Orkneys where we had a days climbing at Yesnaby.
